My Cruel Husband Threw Me Out Pregnant, Until His Powerful Grandmother Saw My Bracelet
The opulent, bronze-decorated lobby of the grand Vance Hotel was usually a sanctuary of quiet luxury, but tonight it became a stage for a devastating public betrayal. Nathan Vance, clad in a flawless slate gray suit, his comb-over hair slightly disheveled, stood over his pregnant wife, Sarah. With a violent kick, he sent her designer leather travel bag sliding across the polished marble floor.
A Public Betrayal
Nathan was furious, his voice echoing off the high ceilings.

"I'm sick of this! I'm sick of your endless whining, Sarah!"
Sarah, wrapped in an elegant white coat that barely concealed her six-month pregnant belly, sank to the floor. She clung desperately to the cold marble counter of the reception desk, her tears smudging her makeup.
"Nathan, please!" she begged, her voice cracking with despair. "Think of our baby. Don't do this to us!"
The hotel staff stood frozen behind the desk, terrified of intervening. Nathan’s eyes remained cold, completely devoid of the love he had once promised her. He turned his back on her and gestured to his personal security detail standing nearby.
"Get her out of here," he ordered coldly. "And make sure she doesn't set foot on Vance property ever again."
The guards hesitated for a split second, looking at Sarah’s swollen belly, but the threat of Nathan’s wrath forced them forward. But before they could lay a hand on her, the gold-trimmed elevator doors at the end of the lobby slid open with a soft chime.
Out stepped Helena Vance, the stern and formidable matriarch of the family empire. Dressed in a dark teal silk gown with an exquisite gold brooch pinned to her chest, she commanded the room instantly. As she walked forward, her sharp eyes caught the glint of a silver charm bracelet on Sarah’s trembling wrist. Helena gasped, her cold demeanor instantly shattering. She rushed forward, stepping directly between Sarah and the guards.
"Don't you dare touch her," Helena warned Nathan, her voice low and dangerous.
