My Mother-in-Law Ripped My Wedding Dress, but She Didn't See the Hidden Cameras
A Ruined Morning
The morning of my wedding was supposed to be filled with laughter, champagne toasts, and the sweet anticipation of walking down the aisle. Instead, it became a nightmare. I stood in our newly renovated kitchen, pouring a glass of water to soothe my parched throat. The delicate silk of my custom wedding gown brushed against the polished stone island. I was finally going to marry Andrew, the man of my dreams. But our happiness had always been shadowed by one towering obstacle: his mother, Patricia.
Patricia had made her disdain for me clear from the moment we met. To her, I was an outsider, someone from a modest background who was "climbing" into their social circle. I had tried everything to win her over, but today, her hostility reached a boiling point. The kitchen door swung open, and Patricia stepped in, looking regal and ice-cold in her designer teal dress.

"You don't belong in this family," she said, her voice a sharp contrast to the joyful music drifting from the gardens.
Before I could even process her words, she lunged forward. Her hands gripped the delicate bodice of my dress, and with a violent tug, she tore the silk open. I stumbled back against the counter, clutching the ruined fabric to my chest, tears streaming down my face.
"Please don't do this, you ripped my dress!" I sobbed.
Patricia merely smirked, looking down at me with absolute triumph. "And no one is going to believe you," she whispered coldly.
Just then, Andrew ran into the kitchen, his light grey suit immaculate, his face twisting in confusion as he saw me on the floor. "Mom, what happened here?" he gasped. Without a word, I tapped my phone, activating the smart TV over the fireplace. The screen instantly displayed the security feed of Patricia tearing my dress. Andrew's face turned pale. "What have you done?" he whispered. I looked at Patricia, whose smirk had vanished. "The cameras," I said quietly.
”"The cameras," I said quietly.
