A Cruel Boutique Owner Humiliated Me, Unaware of My True Identity
The Gown in the Window
The morning sun beat down on the bustling city sidewalk, casting a brilliant glow over the immaculate display window of La Fleur Bridal. Inside, mounted on a plush velvet pedestal, stood a masterpiece: a breathtaking white lace wedding gown. It was adorned with intricate floral embroidery that seemed to float like real petals across the delicate silk train. To anyone passing by, it was a work of art. To Clara, it was a ghost from her past.
Clara stood frozen, her hand trembling as she pressed her fingertips against the cool glass. She wore a faded, tattered green cardigan over a simple t-shirt, and her messy blonde curls fell wildly around her pale face. She looked entirely out of place in this high-end district, a stark contrast to the polished marble and gold accents of the boutique. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she whispered in awe,
"What a beautiful dress!"

Suddenly, the heavy glass door swung open. Victoria, the store manager, stepped out. Dressed in an elegant cream-colored dress that screamed wealth and authority, she crossed her arms and stared at Clara with deep disdain.
"Please leave,"Victoria said dismissively.
"You are making our customers uncomfortable."
Clara swallowed hard, her voice barely a whisper.
"I just want to try on that dress."
Victoria let out a sharp, mocking laugh that turned the heads of several wealthy shoppers inside the store. She gestured toward the laughing women behind the glass and sneered,
"You?! Try on that dress?! You couldn't even afford the thread, let alone the gown. Get away from my shop before I call the police."
”Get away from my shop before I call the police."
