A Wealthy Man in a Wheelchair Mocked a Poor Boy, but One Touch Changed Everything
The opulent dining hall of The Gilded Spoon was bathed in the soft, warm glow of crystal chandeliers and flickering candlelight. For Marcus Vance, a wealthy and influential real estate mogul, the luxury was nothing more than a dull backdrop to his daily misery. Sitting in a tailored dark grey suit, Marcus adjusted his position in his high-end wheelchair. Five years ago, a devastating car crash had stolen his ability to walk, leaving him bitter and cynical. He had spent millions on world-class surgeons and experimental therapies, but none of them could restore the feeling in his legs. He was a man who had everything, yet possessed nothing that truly mattered.
An Unexpected Encounter
As Marcus sipped his expensive vintage wine, a sudden commotion near the entrance caught his attention. A scruffy young boy, no older than ten, had managed to slip past the elite restaurant's strict security. The boy wore a stained t-shirt and worn-out sneakers, a stark contrast to the black-tie crowd. Yet, instead of running away, the boy walked directly toward Marcus’s table with strange determination. The waitstaff scrambled to intercept him, but Marcus raised a hand, stopping them. He found the boy's sheer audacity intriguing.

"What do you want, boy?" Marcus asked, his voice dripping with skepticism.
The boy, whose name was Sam, didn't flinch. He looked at Marcus with bright, incredibly calm blue eyes. Slowly, he pointed down at Marcus’s useless legs.
"Sir, can I heal your legs?" Sam asked earnestly.
Marcus let out a bitter, incredulous chuckle. It was the most absurd thing he had ever heard. Gesturing mockingly toward his wheelchair, he leaned forward.
"You? If you make me walk, I'll give you a million dollars," Marcus sneered, confident the boy was just a clever street hustler looking for a payout.
But Sam didn't hesitate. He took a step closer and placed his small, warm hands firmly on Marcus’s knees. Marcus frowned, feeling a sudden wave of annoyance.
"This is ridiculous," Marcus muttered, reaching down to pull the boy's hands away.
Sam looked up, his gaze holding an ancient, deep serenity.
"Trust me,"the boy whispered. Suddenly, a jolt of intense, radiant heat surged from Sam’s palms, rushing up Marcus's thighs and down to his toes. Marcus gasped, his eyes widening in absolute shock. For the first time in five years, he felt a spark of life in his dead limbs.
"What did you do to me?" Marcus whispered, trembling in utter disbelief.
