Previously: When 24-year-old Logan mocked 66-year-old Miriam at a local shooting range, he thought she was lost. But one look at her registration form changed everything.

A Clash of Legacies

The tension in the room skyrocketed as Abraham stared at the signature: Miriam Vance. To the young crowd, it was just a name, but to Abraham, it was the name of a legend. Miriam was the widow of Arthur Vance, the co-founder of the Iron Sight, and she was once the military's most elite tactical instructor. She had vanished from the public eye after Arthur's passing, leaving behind a legacy that had never been matched.

Before Abraham could speak, Logan's father, Richard Miller—the wealthy developer aiming to demolish the range—stepped out of the VIP booth. He clutched a legal document, his face twisted into a smug smirk. Richard had bought out the land's primary lease and had set up this tournament as a public relations stunt to legally seize the facility. He didn't care about history; he only cared about the high-rise condos he planned to build on the property.

"It doesn't matter who she is, Abraham," Richard said coldly, tossing the document onto the desk. "The contract states that only active members of the local league can compete for the lease. Your legendary widow isn't on the roster. She's disqualified before she even starts."

Logan laughed, recovering his arrogance. "That's right. Rules are rules, old lady. You can't just walk in here and play savior."

But Abraham's eyes suddenly flared with a spark of hope. He began flipping through the ancient, dusty leather-bound ledger of the Iron Sight's founding charter. His fingers traced the faded ink of the original document signed forty years ago. He pointed directly to a clause at the very bottom of the yellowed paper, his voice booming with newfound strength.

"Actually, Richard, you're wrong," Abraham declared, showing the document to the crowd. "The charter states that any founding partner, or their surviving spouse, holds a lifetime active membership with automatic tournament eligibility. Miriam isn't just allowed to play. She has the right to challenge your champion directly for the ultimate ownership of this land."

The crowd erupted into whispers. Richard's face paled, and Logan's eyes widened in panic. The ultimate shootout was officially set.
