The Giant Inmate Thought I Was Weak Until I Revealed My True Identity
Previously: When Jax, the prison's most feared inmate, tried to break new prisoner Elena in the yard, he had no idea she wasn't there by accident—she was hunting him.
A Debt Written in Blood
Jax’s mockery quickly turned to irritation. He wasn't used to being stared down, especially not by someone half his size. He lunged forward, his thick fingers clawing the air to grab her throat and end the defiance once and for all. But Elena had spent years preparing for this exact encounter. She slipped beneath his heavy, slow swing with practiced agility. Before Jax could recover his balance, she drove her heel directly into the side of his knee with explosive force.
A sickening crack echoed through the silent yard. Jax screamed in agony, his massive body collapsing onto the cold concrete. The surrounding inmates gasped in absolute shock; the king of the yard had been brought to his knees in a single move. Elena leaned down, her voice a deadly whisper that only Jax could hear.

"You don't remember me, do you, Jax?" she whispered, pointing to a small, faint scar near her temple. "Five years ago. The rainy night on Route 9. You were paid to run my sister's car off the road."
Jax's eyes widened in sheer terror as the pieces clicked together. The ruthless giant looked as though he had seen a ghost. He tried to back away, dragging his injured leg, but Elena gripped his collar tightly, pulling him close. "The police called it a tragic accident," she hissed. "But I survived. And I came here for you."
Jax shook his head, his face pale. "You don't understand," he wheezed, coughing up a speck of blood. "I was just the driver. I only took the job because I needed the money. If you kill me, you'll never know who actually paid for the hit."
Elena’s heart froze. "Who was it?" she demanded, tightening her grip. Jax let out a weak, raspy laugh. "Look toward the warden's office, Elena. The person who wanted your sister dead—and who made sure you were transferred here to be finished off—is standing right there."
