"I've seen the court documents. I know you haven't paid a dime of child support in eighteen months, and I know you've been harassing Amanda at her home. But today, your little game ends."

Amanda gasped from behind Ryan's broad shoulders. How did this quiet contractor know her name, let alone the intimate details of her custody battle? She had only ever exchanged polite pleasantries with him at the checkout counter. Kyle's face paled, his arrogant smirk instantly evaporating. "You're bluffing," Kyle stammered, though his voice lacked its previous venom. "You're just some guy in a dirty t-shirt."

"I might be in a dirty t-shirt," Ryan replied calmly, pulling out his phone. "But I also happen to be the majority shareholder of Oakridge Properties. I own this entire commercial plaza, and as of three weeks ago, I bought this grocery franchise."

Ryan pressed a button on his phone and spoke clearly into the receiver. "Security, I need the police at the main entrance immediately. I have a trespasser who is actively violating a restraining order." Kyle's eyes went wide with panic. Realizing he was completely outmatched, he spat on the ground, muttered a cowardly curse, and sprinted toward his car, leaving Amanda shaking but safe under the bright storefront lights.
