Previously: Left stranded in a luxury hotel lobby by her scheming husband, Clara faces public humiliation—until the hotel’s billionaire owner recognizes her name and decides to settle an old family debt.

The Billionaire's Debt

The confrontation shattered the quiet elegance of the lobby. When Clara confronted them, Julian didn't look remorseful; his face twisted into a sneer.

"Look at yourself, Clara," Julian said loudly, drawing the eyes of the wealthy onlookers. "You don't belong here. I've filed for divorce, and you're trespassing."
When Clara gasped, asking about her father's company, Evelyn laughed cruelly.
"You signed those shares over to Julian months ago during your illness. Did you really not read the power of attorney?"
Clara felt the world spin. He had stolen her legacy. As Julian signaled the guards to throw her out, a commanding voice halted the room. Arthur Vance, the elusive billionaire owner of the hotel group, walked toward them.

Ignoring Julian's desperate attempts to introduce himself, Arthur stopped before Clara.

"Clara Sterling? The daughter of Thomas Sterling?"
When she nodded, Arthur smiled warmly.
"Your father saved my first business twenty years ago. I have searched for his family to repay that debt."
Arthur ordered the guards to move Clara to the Imperial Penthouse and blacklisted Julian and Evelyn from every Vance property worldwide. Julian was dragged out, screaming in humiliation.

But the next morning, the nightmare returned. Julian called Clara, his voice dripping with malice. He threatened to release confidential medical records belonging to her late father, exposing a deeply buried family secret that would ruin the Sterling name forever, unless she signed away all alimony rights by noon. Clara looked up to find Arthur standing in the doorway with a legal folder.

"I heard," Arthur said gently. "Are you ready to fight back, or do we let him win?"
Clara was torn between protecting her father’s memory and reclaiming her life.
