Ashley lay trembling on the cold hospital floor, her physical pain eclipsed by the agonizing betrayal of the man she had loved for years. He knew about Christopher’s secret mistress, Vanessa, and their elaborate plot to frame Ashley for infidelity in order to bypass their prenuptial agreement.
