I Found My Forgotten Husband on the Streets and Begged Him to Save Me
Previously: When Amelia found her long-lost husband Julian living on the streets with no memory of his past, she knelt in the rain to propose—but a dark secret was about to shatter everything.
Confrontation on the Curb
The street erupted into chaos. Uncle Arthur stepped out of the luxury vehicle, his face twisted in a mixture of rage and sheer panic. He had spent five years trying to legally declare Julian dead so he could seize the family empire, and seeing his nephew alive on the streets was his worst nightmare. "Don't let him remember!" Arthur roared to his hired thugs. "Grab the vagrant and get him into the car!"
Amelia stood up instantly, stepping between the thugs and the screaming Julian, who was clutching his head as if his mind were tearing apart.
"Get away from him, Arthur!"she screamed, her voice echoing off the brick walls of the alley.
"I know what you did! I know you caused his accident!"

Arthur sneered, gesturing to his heavily armed men.
"You've lost your mind, Amelia. That man is a sick, dangerous street dweller. He belongs in a private facility, and I am going to make sure he gets there. Move out of the way, or my men will move you."
Amelia’s personal guards moved forward, drawing their weapons as a tense standoff commenced under the pouring rain. But the true battle was happening inside Julian’s fractured mind. As he stared at Arthur’s cruel, familiar face, the dark fog of amnesia began to burn away, replaced by a blinding flash of memory. He remembered the headlights, the truck pushing his car off the bridge, and the face of the man watching from the shore—Arthur.
"You..."Julian gasped, his voice suddenly strong and clear.
"It was you on the bridge. You tried to kill me!"
Panic took over Arthur. Realizing his entire conspiracy was about to crumble, he drew a sleek black pistol from his coat. "He’s insane!" Arthur screamed, aiming the weapon directly at Julian. "Kill him!" A shot rang out, echoing like thunder through the rainy night.
