I Married My Air Force Pilot—But His Father Arrested Me at the Altar
Previously: Ashley’s dream wedding turns into a nightmare when her new husband’s father, a powerful General, arrests her at the altar—revealing a shocking betrayal that changes everything.
The Final Judgment
As the cold steel of the handcuffs clamped around Ashley's wrists, General Vance smirked, believing he had won. He reached into his pocket to order the officers to escort her out. But Ashley took a deep, steadying breath. She wiped the tears from her face, her eyes flashing with the fierce determination of a true soldier.
"You think you’re so smart, General," Ashley said, her voice steady and clear enough for everyone in the church to hear. "And you, Andrew. You thought because I loved you, I was blind. But my father taught me to always secure my perimeter."

Andrew’s brow furrowed in sudden anxiety. "What do you mean, Ashley?"
"I knew something was wrong when you kept asking specific questions about the diary’s physical location last week," Ashley explained, a cold smile touching her lips. "So, this morning, before I even put on this wedding dress, I mailed the original diary directly to the Pentagon’s Inspector General via registered military courier. It was logged and received two hours ago."
General Vance’s face turned an ashen shade of gray.
"And that's not all," Ashley continued, looking directly at the military police officers. "Inside that manila envelope you threw down, General, are photocopies. But the digital scans, along with a full sworn affidavit detailing your extortion attempt today, were sent to Senator Hayes, a close friend of my father's. He has been waiting for my signal."
Right on cue, the heavy oak doors of the church swung open once more. This time, it wasn't more of Vance's loyalists. A high-ranking officer from the Criminal Investigation Division stepped inside, accompanied by federal marshals.
"General Vance," the lead marshal announced, walking past Ashley and heading straight for the older man. "You are under arrest for conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and treason. Flight Lieutenant Andrew Vance, you are being detained as an accessory."
The handcuffs were quickly transferred from Ashley’s wrists to the wrists of the two men who had tried to ruin her. As they were led away in disgrace, Ashley stood tall in her green uniform, the American flag behind her symbolizing the justice she had finally brought to her father’s name. True honor could never be stolen by a uniform; it lived within the heart of those who served the truth.
