My Arrogant General Demanded I Serve Him Coffee, So I Exposed His Biggest Secret
Previously: When General Arthur tried to humiliate Lieutenant Sarah Miller in front of the entire briefing room, he didn't realize she held the evidence that could end his career forever.
The Disciplinary Trap
Within less than an hour, the inevitable backlash began. Sarah was summoned to the high-security disciplinary office on the third floor. When she walked in, she found General Arthur waiting for her, flanked by two of the base's senior military lawyers. A smug, victorious grin was plastered across the general's face. He believed he had finally found the leverage he needed to destroy her career once and for all.
"Insubordination in a time of active operations is a serious offense, Lieutenant Miller," Arthur sneered, tossing a thick disciplinary file onto the metal desk. "You are finished. I will personally ensure you are dishonorably discharged and left in disgrace."
Sarah did not show a hint of fear. Instead, she calmly sat down in the chair opposite him and opened her own leather briefcase. She pulled out a heavily stamped red folder and slid it across the table.

"I didn't refuse your order out of disrespect, General," Sarah said quietly. "I refused it because I was finalizing this investigation. It seems we have a major security leak."
Arthur laughed mockingly, but as he opened the folder, his smile instantly vanished. The documents inside detailed a massive, multi-million-dollar embezzling scheme. For six months, military funds meant for advanced soldier equipment had been diverted into offshore accounts. Every single transaction was linked to a shell company registered under Arthur's wife's maiden name. Sarah had been working undercover for the Pentagon's Inspector General.
The lawyers leaned in, saw the evidence, and immediately took a step back, realizing the gravity of the situation. Panicking, Arthur lunged forward, grabbed the folder, and jammed it into the heavy-duty paper shredder beside his desk. The machine roared, turning the evidence into useless confetti. Arthur then locked the office door and turned to Sarah with a sinister smile.
"No files, no evidence, Lieutenant," he whispered. "Who do you think they will believe? A highly decorated general, or a hysterical girl?"
