My Corrupt Boss Framed Me in Court—Then My Estranged Father Entered the Gallery
Previously: When young attorney Clara Vance is framed for tampering with evidence by her own mentor, her career seems over. But a sudden arrival in the courtroom gallery changes the entire trial.
The Uninvited Witness
Just as the heavy wooden gavel began its descent, the heavy double doors at the back of the courtroom burst open. The sudden noise echoed through the grand room, causing every head to turn. A tall, distinguished older man stepped inside, his posture commanding absolute authority. It was Arthur Pendelton, the reclusive billionaire and CEO of the very chemical giant we were suing. A collective gasp rippled through the gallery.
Julian’s face drained of color. He watched in sheer horror as Arthur marched down the center aisle, completely ignoring the security guards who hesitated to stop him. In his hand, Arthur held a small, black flash drive. "Your Honor, stop this proceeding," Arthur announced, his deep voice cutting through the tension. "The young woman standing before you is innocent. She did not tamper with any evidence. The real culprit is sitting right next to her."

The courtroom erupted into whispers. Judge Vance lowered his gavel, his stern eyes locking onto the billionaire. "Explain yourself, Mr. Pendelton," the judge demanded. Arthur walked straight to the bailiff and handed over the drive. "On this drive is an encrypted recording of a meeting held in my private office three nights ago. Julian Sterling came to me, offering to destroy the plaintiff's smoking gun document in exchange for a five-million-dollar bribe. When I refused, he decided to forge a fake document, upload it using Clara's credentials, and frame her to protect his own skin."
"This is preposterous!" Julian shouted, his voice cracking as sweat poured down his neck. "This man is trying to deflect blame from his own company's negligence!"
But the judge ordered the bailiff to play the audio. Julian's distinct, arrogant voice filled the courtroom speakers, detailing the entire frame-up. As the realization of his ruin washed over him, Julian’s eyes grew wild. He reached into his leather briefcase and pulled out a thick manila envelope. "If I go down, everyone goes down!" Julian screamed, pointing a trembling finger at Judge Vance. "I have proof that the presiding judge accepted bribes from my firm ten years ago! This entire trial is a sham!"
