Previously: When Martha's daughter and son-in-law took her out on a luxury yacht, she thought it was a celebration. Instead, it became a terrifying fight for her life.

A Hidden Witness Emerges

Just as Martha’s grip began to fail, the heavy wooden door to the yacht's lower cabin slid open with a sharp, echoing thud. Sarah froze, her fingers loosening slightly. Arthur’s indifferent posture vanished instantly, his face turning pale under his tan. Stepping onto the sun-drenched deck was David, Martha’s longtime attorney and her late husband’s closest confidant. In his left hand, he held a thick manila folder; in his right, his smartphone was raised high, its camera lens pointed directly at the trembling mother and daughter.

"Step away from her, Sarah," David commanded, his voice ringing with absolute authority.

Shocked, Sarah stumbled backward, releasing Martha, who collapsed onto the deck, gasping for air. Arthur quickly stepped forward, his fists clenched as he tried to block David's view.

"How did you get on this boat, David?" Arthur snarled, his voice trembling with a mixture of rage and fear. "This is private property! You’re trespassing!"

David didn't flinch. He walked over to Martha, helping her to her feet before turning back to the hostile couple.

"Martha invited me on board before you left the marina," David explained coldly. "I was resting in the lower cabin. And thank God I was, because this phone has been live-streaming everything to our firm's secure cloud server. If anything happens to Martha, the police will have the footage before we even dock."

Arthur let out a harsh, desperate laugh, trying to regain control.

"You think a live-stream scares us?" Arthur sneered. "We are fifteen miles out. There is no signal out here, old man. You’re bluffing."

But David simply smiled, reaching into his pocket to reveal a high-powered satellite router. The realization hit Sarah like a physical blow. She looked at her mother, her eyes wide with a new kind of terror. Martha stood tall, smoothing down her dark blue dress, her panic replaced by a cold, sharp resolve. The trap hadn't been set for her; she had set it for them.
