By the time Natalie reached her car, her phone was vibrating continuously with furious texts and voicemails from her father, but she ignored them all. She knew the audit would uncover the truth: Arthur had been funneling tens of millions of dollars from the corporate treasury into offshore accounts to cover his personal gambling debts and failed real estate ventures.

The following morning, the atmosphere in the Sterling Enterprises headquarters was electric. The board of directors had gathered in the main conference room, their faces grim.
