Previously: When Arthur Sterling publicly fired his daughter Natalie to protect his dark financial secrets, he thought he had won. But Natalie was prepared to expose a truth that would destroy him.

The Ultimate Truth

For a decade, the guilt of her mother's death had eaten Natalie alive. Arthur had used that pain to keep her subservient, forcing her to work endless hours to build the empire while he took the credit. But what Arthur didn't know was that Natalie had stopped believing his lies. Just days earlier, Evelyn had uncovered a sealed box in the company's oldest archive room. Inside was the original, untampered mechanic's report from the night of the crash.

Natalie looked at her father, her gaze hardening. "You think you can still blackmail me with your lies, Dad?" she said, her voice echoing clearly through the silent boardroom. She pulled a second document from her folder and slid it across the table. "This is the real report. The one showing that you ordered the brake line to be tampered with to collect her massive life insurance policy."

Arthur’s face drained of all color. He reached for the paper, his hands shaking violently as he realized his decades of deception had finally caught up with him. The board members stared at him in absolute disgust. Before Arthur could utter another word, the heavy double doors of the conference room swung open, and three federal agents stepped inside, led by the authorities Natalie had contacted hours earlier.

As the officers placed Arthur in handcuffs and led him away, he turned to look at his daughter, his eyes filled with defeat. Natalie watched him go, feeling a profound sense of relief wash over her. The shadow that had haunted her for ten years was finally gone. Stepping to the window, she looked out over the city she had helped build, knowing that justice had finally been served and she was finally free.
