Jessica gathered both boys in her arms, ignoring the curious stares of passersby, and rushed them into a warm diner around the corner. She ordered a hot meal for the shivering boy, who introduced himself as Wyatt. As Wyatt ate ravenously, Jessica stared at the gold locket. It was an unmistakable family heirloom belonging to her late husband's wealthy family. Wyatt explained that his grandmother had given it to him, but when she fell gravely ill and was hospitalized, a harsh man in a suit had thrown Wyatt out of the mansion, telling him he was no longer wanted.

"You were never fit to raise the heirs to the family fortune, Jessica," Eleanor sneered. "I took Wyatt to raise him as a proper gentleman, but he proved to be difficult. Now that my health is failing, my lawyers have deemed him a liability. If you go to the police, my legal team will ensure Wyatt disappears into the state system forever under a false identity, and I will strip you of Henry. Bring him to my estate now. Alone."
