My Wedding Halted When My Ex Arrived With Two Girls Who Had My Eyes
Previously: On the happiest day of his life, David stood at the altar ready to say 'I do,' until his ex-girlfriend Elise interrupted the ceremony with two little girls who changed everything.
The revelation hung in the warm air like a physical weight. Sarah burst into hysterical tears, her bridesmaids rushing forward to support her as she glared at Elise with pure hatred. David’s mother, Evelyn, stood up from the front row, her face pale with fury as she demanded that security remove the intruders immediately. But David was paralyzed, his eyes locked on the two innocent faces staring back at him.
A Web of Lies
“This is impossible,” David stammered, shaking his head. “We broke up four years ago, Elise. You never said a word about a pregnancy. Why now?”

Elise’s eyes welled with tears, but she kept her composure. “I tried to tell you, David. I called you dozens of times after I moved, but your number had been changed. When I flew back to find you, your mother met me at your office. She told me you never wanted to see me again, and she had her security guards throw me out of the building. She threatened to ruin my family if I ever tried to contact you again.”
David turned slowly to look at his mother. Evelyn’s defensive posture crumbled, her guilty eyes darting away. The truth was written all over her face. She had hidden his own children from him to protect the family’s social standing and ensure his marriage to Sarah, whose family owned a major real estate empire.
“How could you do this, Mom?” David whispered, the betrayal cutting deeper than any wound.
Sarah grabbed David’s arm, her voice shrill and desperate. “David, it doesn’t matter! She’s trying to ruin our day! If you don’t tell her to leave right now, this wedding is over and I will never forgive you!” she screamed, demanding he choose between his past and his future.
Elise calmly reached into her clutch and pulled out a folded envelope, holding it out to him. “These are their birth certificates and the DNA test results, David. I don't want your money. I just want them to have their father.”
”I just want them to have their father.”
