Nurse Discovers His Missing Wife Giving Birth to Twins in His Own Hospital
Previously: A dedicated nurse is shattered to find his missing wife giving birth in his hospital, only to uncover a shocking truth about the newborn twins.
A Battle for the Truth
The peaceful hum of the nursery corridor was brutally shattered by the heavy tread of expensive leather shoes. Chris turned to see Julian Vance marching toward him, flanked by two burly private security guards. Julian’s face was twisted in a sneer of pure arrogance as he stared at Chris’s blue scrubs.
"Get your hands off my children," Julian hissed, stepping directly into Chris’s personal space. "I know who you are. Sarah told me about her pathetic ex. You’re nothing but a low-wage nurse, and you have no right to be near my family."
Chris didn't flinch. He carefully placed the twin girls into their secure bassinets, keeping his body between the infants and Julian.

"These babies were born full-term, Julian," Chris said, his voice remarkably steady despite the adrenaline surging through his veins. "Sarah left me exactly nine months ago. If you do the math, it is biologically impossible for these girls to be yours."
Julian’s eyes flared with a brief flash of genuine panic before his mask of wealthy superiority slipped back on. He gestured to his security guards.
"I don't care about your pathetic theories," Julian sneered. "I have the best lawyers in the state. I will have your nursing license revoked before sunrise if you don't step away from those cribs. Sarah is my fiancé, and these are my daughters on paper. You are nothing."
Just then, Sarah was wheeled into the hallway by a nurse. She looked exhausted, her eyes red and swollen from crying. When she saw the confrontation, she began to weep openly.
"Julian, please, stop!" Sarah cried out, her voice cracking. "We can't do this here."
Chris looked at his wife, searching her eyes for the woman he had loved.
"Sarah, tell him the truth," Chris pleaded. "Are they mine? Please, just tell me."
Sarah looked at Julian, who gave her a cold, warning glare. She looked back at Chris, her shoulders shaking.
"I'm sorry, Chris," she whispered, refusing to meet his gaze. "They belong to Julian now. Just let us go."
But Chris refused to back down. He demanded an immediate, official DNA test, threatening to call the police and the media to expose the discrepancy in the birth records.
