An Officer Ordered Her to Leave the USO Desk, Then Read Her Secret ID Card
Previously: When a young woman in a simple green jacket tried to sit at the USO lounge, an officer ordered her to leave. But one look at her ID card changed everything.
The Confrontation
The brief moment of peace was shattered by the sharp click of leather boots marching rapidly across the terminal.
"Nicole? What on earth are you doing here?"
a cold, arrogant voice barked.

Nicole froze as she recognized the voice of Commander Julian, her former superior. He marched into the USO lounge in a pristine dress uniform, flanked by two armed military police officers. Julian’s face was pale, his eyes wide with a mixture of terror and fury. Seven years ago, he had declared Nicole’s elite unit dead, writing them off as casualties of a failed mission.
"You were classified as missing in action, presumed deceased,"
Julian sneered, stepping close to corner her.
"You have no authorization to be on this soil. You are a security risk."
Patrick immediately stepped between them, his hand resting near his side.
"Sir, her credentials are active and valid. Protocol dictates we assist her."
"Stay out of this, Officer!"
Julian hissed, pointing an angry finger.
"Her entire file was wiped. She is an impostor. Arrest her immediately!"
The two military police officers hesitated, looking at Patrick and then at Nicole, who stood calmly amidst the storm. But Julian’s authority was absolute, and the guards began to draw their restraints. Seeing the injustice unfolding, the older veterans in the lounge stood up. Frank stepped forward, his medals clinking as he formed a protective wall around Nicole.
"We don't leave our own behind, Commander,"
Frank said, his voice echoing through the terminal.
Furious at the insubordination, Julian pulled out his secure satellite phone and dialed a high-ranking contact at the Pentagon.
"I am calling the Joint Chiefs. You will all face court-martial for aiding a rogue agent,"
Julian threatened, holding the phone to his ear with a triumphant smirk. He believed his power was absolute, unaware that Nicole had spent seven years planning this exact confrontation.
