After Hannah finished the warm meal, Michael walked out of the diner and sat across from her. He offered her a clean tissue and asked her name. When she whispered "Hannah," a strange look of shock and recognition washed over his face. He asked about her husband, and when she mentioned Mark’s name, Michael’s expression hardened into ice.

As it turned out, Michael was the billionaire CEO of the investment firm where Mark worked. Michael revealed that he had been auditing Mark’s accounts and had discovered massive corporate embezzlement. Mark had been stealing millions, planning to flee the country with his mistress while leaving Hannah with absolutely nothing.

"I won't let him destroy you," Michael promised. "We are going to fix this."

Michael immediately put Hannah up in a secure luxury hotel and hired a top-tier divorce attorney to represent her.
