Previously: When a snobbish car salesman violently shoved a teenager in a simple red backpack, he thought he was protecting a luxury vehicle. He had no idea who the boy's family actually was.

A Sudden Power Shift

The general manager of the dealership, alerted by the commotion, rushed out of his office. Terrified of losing the patronage of Ryan's billionaire grandfather, the manager immediately fired Nicholas on the spot, ordering him to pack his belongings. Nicholas began to weep openly, stammering apologies and begging Ryan for mercy. Ryan ignored him, walking into the VIP lounge with Philip to finalize the purchase of the sports car.

However, before the paperwork could be signed, the showroom doors slid open again. The sharp click of high heels echoed across the marble floor. A tall, elegant woman walked in, flanked by two burly security guards. It was Victoria, Ryan's ambitious stepmother, who had spent years trying to push Ryan out of the family business.

A cold, triumphant smile played on Victoria's lips as she glanced at the weeping Nicholas, then at Ryan. She walked directly to the manager's desk and slid a black titanium card across the counter.

"I am purchasing that black sports car today. And as the new majority shareholder of this dealership's parent company, I am reinstating Nicholas immediately."

Nicholas stopped crying, his eyes widening in shock and hope as he scrambled back to his feet. Victoria turned to Ryan, her eyes dripping with venom. She leaned in close, whispering so only he could hear.

"You see, Ryan, your grandfather was rushed to the hospital an hour ago. While you were busy playing humble student, I had him sign over the temporary power of attorney. I control the trust now. You are officially cut off."

Philip stepped forward to defend Ryan, but Victoria's guards quickly blocked him. Nicholas stood behind Victoria, a smug grin returning to his face. It seemed like Ryan had lost everything in a single, devastating moment.
