Previously: When a snobbish car salesman shoves a teenager in a backpack, he has no idea the boy's family owns the dealership—until a butler walks in and kneels.

The Manager's Mistake

Daniel stood frozen, his breath catching in his throat as the reality of his mistake crashed down upon him. The teenager he had just assaulted was not a trespasser; he was the sole heir to the multi-billion-dollar empire that owned the entire dealership group. Panic surged through the salesman. Realizing his career—and potentially his freedom—was on the line, Daniel scrambled toward the back offices, desperate for a lifeline.

Moments later, he returned with Marcus, the arrogant general manager of the branch. Marcus was a close ally of Daniel's, known for prioritizing high-rolling clients and dismissing anyone who didn't look wealthy. Seeing the commotion, Marcus marched over, his chest puffed out defensively.

"What is the meaning of this?" Marcus demanded, looking at Alfred and Logan. "Daniel told me a street kid was trying to vandalize our flagship vehicle!"

Alfred stood up, his posture immaculate, his eyes flashing with a dangerous intensity. "This young man is Logan Vance. I suggest you watch your tone, Mr. Miller."

Marcus, however, was too arrogant to see the truth. He had never met the elusive Vance family heirs in person, and he assumed Alfred was merely an eccentric old man trying to protect a troublemaker. "I don't care who you pretend to be," Marcus sneered, stepping closer to Logan. "This is a private establishment. Get this trash out of my showroom, or I will have security drag you both out in handcuffs for attempted grand theft."

Daniel smirked behind his manager's back, believing he had successfully shifted the blame. He thought his job was safe and that the boy in the backpack would be humiliated. But Logan simply stood up, dusting off his jeans. Instead of showing fear, a cold, calm smile spread across the young heir's face. He looked at Alfred, who was already holding his phone.

"Alfred, call the police," Logan said softly, his voice echoing in the quiet room. "But let's make sure they know exactly who is being arrested today."
