A Sergeant Tried to Frame Me in the Barracks, but My Secret Saved Me
Previously: When a ruthless sergeant tried to humiliate Lieutenant Megan in front of her entire unit with a planted item, he didn't realize he was walking straight into a trap of his own making.
The Commander's Office
Ten minutes later, Megan stood outside the Commanding Officer's door. Inside, she could hear Sergeant Nelson's theatrical voice recounting his fabricated version of the events. He was painting himself as the innocent victim of an unprovoked assault by an unstable Navy officer. Taking a deep breath, Megan knocked and entered, standing at absolute attention.
Commander Vance looked up from his heavy mahogany desk, his expression grim. Nelson stood to the side, a smug, victorious grin plastered across his face. He truly believed he had successfully ended her career.

"Lieutenant Megan, Sergeant Nelson has made a very serious allegation against you," Commander Vance said slowly. "He claims you physically assaulted him in the barracks."
"With all due respect, Sir, the Sergeant is lying," Megan replied, her voice unwavering. "And I have the footage to prove it."
She produced the tiny memory card from her pocket and handed it to the Commander. Vance slid the card into his computer reader, clicking the file. Nelson's smirk began to falter as the video began to play. The screen showed the barracks room, clear and high-definition. It showed Nelson marching in, aggressively invading Megan's space, and Megan executing a textbook self-defense block after he tried to grab her shoulder.
But the video didn't stop there. Because Megan's camera was motion-activated and had been running all morning, the playback continued backward. The screen flickered to thirty minutes prior, when the barracks was completely empty.
The Commander's jaw tightened as the footage showed Nelson sneaking into the empty barracks. He didn't just plant the red bra. The camera captured him using a master key to open Megan's secure locker, pulling out a folder containing highly sensitive naval transport schedules, and stuffing them into his own jacket.
"What is the meaning of this, Sergeant?" Commander Vance whispered, his voice dangerously low as he stared at the screen.
