Previously: When a ruthless corporate executive tried to strip a decorated veteran of his pension on a busy city street, he had no idea who was watching from the shadows.

The doors of the lead armored vehicle flew open, and a team of stoic security personnel immediately established a perimeter on the sidewalk. From the rear seat stepped General Sterling, a towering, highly decorated officer wearing his immaculate blue dress uniform. The medals on his chest caught the brilliant sunlight, casting sharp reflections across the concrete. The entire street seemed to fall silent under his commanding presence. He marched directly toward the tense scene, his eyes fixed on the trembling executive.

The General's Command

The General looked down at the gold coin resting near Charles’s expensive leather shoe, then raised his gaze to meet the executive's terrified eyes.

"Pick it up,"
the General commanded, his voice vibrating with absolute authority. Charles stammered, his smug demeanor evaporating into thin air. "General, I... I was just managing a minor corporate dispute with this trespasser," Charles squeaked, attempting to hide the plastic clipboard behind his back.

Ignoring the panicked excuse, General Sterling bent down himself. He picked up the heavy gold coin, carefully wiped the dust from its polished surface, and handed it back to George. Then, to the utter shock of Charles and the gathering crowd, the General stood at perfect attention and delivered a crisp, respectful salute.

"It is an honor to see you again, Sergeant Major,"
General Sterling said warmly. George smiled, returning the salute with a steady hand. "Likewise, Arthur. It's been a long time."

The General turned his attention back to Charles, his expression turning to stone. He snatched the clipboard from the executive's shaking hands and flipped through the legal documents. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the fraudulent eviction notices and the illegal pension termination orders.

"So, you are the one responsible for the systematic targeting of our veterans,"
the General whispered dangerously. Charles's phone began to ring furiously in his pocket, the screen displaying the word 'CEO,' but he was too terrified to move. The trap was closing fast.
