"Twelve years ago, when Emily’s mother passed away, she left her entire estate in a blind trust," Charles explained, his voice echoing with absolute authority. "The jewelry brand, this showroom, and every single diamond in this building were funded by her family's legacy. I was merely the executor until today."

He handed the papers directly to Patricia, whose face drained of all color as she read the terms. The document clearly stated that upon Emily's twenty-second birthday—which was today—the entire trust, including the ownership of the luxury brand, transferred fully and solely to Emily.
