He locked eyes with Sarah and ran to embrace her. Over his shoulder, Sarah saw John standing by the command tent, a rare, genuine smile breaking through his stern expression. He gave her a sharp, respectful salute.
She had not only saved her brother, but she had also proven that courage, when guided by precision and absolute belief, can overcome any impossible odds.
