Previously: When Amanda threw a public divorce party to humiliate Jared in front of his entire family, she thought she had won. She didn't know he brought the ultimate receipt.

The Cost of Humiliation

As the whispers grew louder, Amanda leaned in close, her breath smelling of expensive champagne. Her sweet public persona vanished, replaced by a cold, calculating sneer that Jared had never seen before. She tapped a thick manila envelope resting on a nearby table.

"Sign the settlement papers tonight, Jared," she whispered, her voice dripping with venom. "If you sign over the house and your mother’s inheritance, this video never leaves this room. If you don't, Sarah posts this to your company's public page. Let's see how your clients feel about a pathetic, publicly dumped loser."

Jared looked at the papers, then at the smirk on Sarah’s face. They had planned this for weeks, believing he was too weak and proud to fight back in front of their families. They thought they had backed him into a corner. But Amanda’s greed had made her careless.

For the past month, Jared had noticed discrepancies in their joint accounts. He had hired a private investigator, expecting to find a hidden bank account. Instead, he had uncovered a web of lies, embezzlement, and a secret affair that went deeper than he could have ever imagined. He wasn't the victim tonight; he was the executioner.

Slowly, Jared let go of the beige t-shirt, letting it flutter uselessly to the polished floor. He reached into his suit pocket and pulled out a small black USB drive. Amanda’s eyes darted to the drive, her smirk faltering for a brief second.

"What is that?" she demanded, her voice sharp with sudden anxiety.

Jared didn't answer. He walked past her, ignoring her protests, and strode directly to the DJ booth at the back of the hall. The room fell into a tense, suffocating silence as he plugged the drive into the media player. Amanda ran toward him, her red dress rustling, but she was too late. He pressed play on the projector screen.

He pressed play on the projector screen.
