The air in Oak Creek High's third-floor restroom was thick with the scent of cheap perfume and damp tiles. Sarah felt her shoulders pinned hard against the cold, grimy wall. Two of Chloe's loyal followers, Jessica and Maya, held her arms with aggressive grips. Before them stood Chloe, the undisputed queen bee of the senior class, holding a tube of crimson lipstick like a weapon.

Chloe smiled, a slow, malicious curve of her lips, and stepped closer. She pressed the waxy red tip against Sarah's forehead, dragging it across her skin.

"Now everyone will know what you are,"

Chloe whispered, her voice dripping with venom. Sarah closed her eyes. For months, she had tolerated the whispers, the shoved shoulders in the hallway, and the cruel online rumors. She had promised her father she would keep a low profile, to never use what he had taught her unless it was absolutely necessary. But as the cold lipstick smeared across her skin, a line was crossed.

In a split second, Sarah's eyes snapped open. With an explosive spin, she channeled the momentum to break Jessica and Maya's grip. In a swift, fluid flurry of blocks and strikes, she swept Jessica’s legs and delivered a precise palm strike to Maya’s shoulder. Both girls crashed to the tiled floor with startled gasps.

Before Chloe could even register what was happening, Sarah sidestepped her frantic slap, grabbed Chloe's wrist, and swept her off her feet. The restroom fell deathly quiet, save for the heavy breathing of the three defeated bullies. Sarah stood defiantly over them, her blonde hair messy but her stance unwavering. She slowly knelt next to a dazed Chloe, who was staring up at her with pure terror. Sarah snatched the fallen lipstick from the floor. With a cold, steady hand, she drew a bold red cross directly onto Chloe's forehead.

"You wrote the wrong name,"

Sarah said coldly, her voice echoing in the small room.
