Editorial Policy

This page explains how the stories on Drama Stories are made, checked and corrected, and the rules we follow.

1. Fiction, clearly labelled

Everything we publish is short fiction written for entertainment. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and images are invented or used in an illustrative way; any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to real events is coincidental. We remind readers of this on every page of the site.

2. Where a story comes from

Each story starts from a short dramatic video. From that video, we develop a complete story told in three short parts. We do not publish texts sent in by readers.

3. How a story is written

The text of every story is written from its video. Every story is signed with the same pen name, Clara Weller, and labelled as such in its byline.

4. The check before publication

Before a story is published, an automated check makes sure that all three of its parts are there. This check does not assess the text itself: if you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it (see section 7).

5. Images

The images that illustrate a story come from the short video it is based on. They do not show real people or real events.

6. Respect

We do not publish content that targets real, identifiable people, that promotes hatred or violence against any group, or that is intended to mislead. Our stories may deal with difficult themes — betrayal, grief, injustice — because that is what drama is made of, but they are written for a general audience.

7. Corrections and removals

If you spot an error in a story, tell us through our contact page or at contact@allquickyrecipes.com, with the link to the story: we correct it. If you believe a story infringes a right or resembles a real person or event in a way that causes harm, write to us the same way; we remove the story when the request is justified.

8. Advertising

The site is financed by advertising, delivered by the partners named in our privacy policy. Advertising never influences which stories we publish or how they end.

9. Who is responsible

Drama Stories is run by its publisher, who signs the stories under the pen name Clara Weller and can be reached at contact@allquickyrecipes.com. Learn more about us.
