The fluorescent lights of Terminal 4 hummed with a cold, sterile energy, casting long shadows over the bustling travelers. In the midst of the crowd, Sarah felt utterly invisible, trapped in a nightmare from which she couldn't wake. She wore an oversized lavender hoodie, her hood pulled low to conceal the dark, painful bruising along her left jawline. But there was no hiding from Thomas.

Thomas, immaculate and imposing in his tailored dark blue pinstripe suit, grabbed her arm with a vice-like grip. When Sarah stumbled, trying to pull back, he shoved her hard toward the gate. The force sent her crashing against a row of terminal seats, her phone slipping from her trembling fingers and clattering onto the polished floor.

The screen lit up, displaying a first-class boarding pass to a remote, non-extradition country.

"Get up," Thomas hissed, his voice a low, venomous growl that made her blood run cold. "You are getting on this plane, Sarah. Don't make a scene."

Sobbing silently, Sarah reached for her phone, but Thomas kicked it aside. He grabbed her arm again, dragging her toward the boarding gate kiosk. The gate agent looked up, startled by the sudden commotion, but Thomas flashed a cold, charming smile that didn't reach his eyes. He shoved Sarah toward the scanner.

"Scan it!" he barked, his voice sharp and commanding.

Sarah’s tear-streaked face was a mask of sheer terror. She looked around desperately, but the surrounding passengers looked away, uncomfortable with the domestic dispute. Her breathing grew shallow as she stood on the precipice of escaping the country with her abuser.

Thomas pushed her onto the boarding bridge, but before they could take another step, a towering figure stepped out of the aircraft door. Captain Robert, wearing his pilot's uniform with a neat beard and a stern expression, stood squarely in the center of the jet bridge, blocking their path.

"Is there a problem here, sir?" Robert asked, his voice calm but steady as steel.
