An Arrogant Billionaire Challenged Me to Dance, Unaware of My True Identity
The Cruel Bet
The grand ballroom of the Sterling Estate was a sea of glittering diamonds, expensive champagne, and artificial smiles. For Chloe Vance, however, it was a prison of her own making. Fifty thousand dollars. To Chloe, that was her mother’s life-saving heart surgery. She looked Alex straight in the eye, her posture straightening. "I accept," she said calmly.
Ten minutes later, the grand double doors of the ballroom swung open. The room fell into a stunned silence as Chloe walked in. She was no longer wearing the navy uniform. Instead, she glided forward in a breathtaking, high-slit red satin gown, her dark hair cascading down her shoulders. Alex’s jaw dropped as he whispered, "Wait. You..."
