A Desperate Plea in the Diner

The retro suburban diner was filled with the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon, but for Jessica, the warm sunbeams cutting through the windows did nothing to ease the icy dread pooling in her stomach. For six agonizing months, she had been running from her powerful, abusive ex-husband, Edward. She had managed to stay one step ahead of his high-priced private investigators, but today, her luck had finally run out. As she sat in a vinyl booth clutching her mug, she watched a sleek black luxury sedan pull up to the curb. Edward stepped out, looking immaculate and terrifyingly calm in his dark designer suit.

Panic seized Jessica’s chest, restricting her breath. She looked around frantically, but the diner’s back exit was locked. She was completely cornered. In her desperation, her eyes fell upon a corner table where a group of rugged, tattooed bikers were recording a live podcast. They looked imposing, with leather vests and hardened expressions, but they were her only hope. Rushing over, Jessica leaned down toward their microphone and whispered with raw urgency.

"Please, I need you to do something for me. I need you to pretend to be my sons for the day."

The table went dead silent. Before they could process her plea, the diner door chimed, and Edward stepped inside. His cold eyes instantly locked onto Jessica, a triumphant sneer spreading across his face. But as he marched forward to claim his prize, Cole, a towering biker with a mohawk, stood up to his full height. Stepping directly between Jessica and the threat, Cole demanded gruffly:

"You looking for our mother?"
