The foyer of the Greenwich estate was a masterpiece of marble and crystal, illuminated by a grand chandelier that cast a warm, golden glow over the polished floors. Sarah stood near the sweeping staircase, her fingers gently tracing the mahogany banister. It was a house she had spent five years turning into a home, pouring her heart and soul into every detail. But tonight, the atmosphere in the room was suffocatingly tense.

The heavy oak front door swung open with a violent thud, letting in a gust of cold autumn wind and rain. Julian stepped inside. His expensive wool coat was damp, but his expression was colder than the weather outside. He didn't look at Sarah with the warmth he once possessed; instead, his eyes were sharp, calculating, and utterly detached. Behind him stood two heavy-set men in gray uniforms, holding empty moving boxes.

"Julian? What is this? Who are these men?" Sarah asked, her voice echoing in the vast, silent entryway.

Without a word, Julian walked past her to the marble console table and dropped a thick manila folder onto its surface. The sound was like a gunshot in the quiet house.

"Your things are already being packed, Sarah," Julian said, his voice flat and devoid of any emotion. "You need to leave. Tonight."

Sarah felt the ground shift beneath her feet. "Leave? This is our home. What are you talking about?"

Julian pulled a set of glossy photographs from his pocket and threw them onto the table. They scattered across the marble. Sarah looked down and gasped. The images showed her sitting in a dimly lit restaurant, laughing and hugging a man.

"I know about your little affair," Julian sneered, stepping closer. "And thanks to our prenuptial agreement, infidelity voids all your claims to this estate and my assets. You leave with absolutely nothing."

"Julian, no! That's Leo, my cousin!" Sarah cried, her voice trembling with shock. "He was helping me organize your surprise birthday party!"

But Julian didn't want to hear the truth. He had already made his decision, a cold, triumphant grin playing on his lips.
