My Husband Kicked Me Out of Our Mansion, Forgetting Who Actually Owned It
Previously: When Julian threw Sarah out of their elegant foyer, he thought he had won everything. But he forgot one crucial detail about the estate's deed that would ruin him forever.
The Tables Turn
The next afternoon, the rain had cleared, leaving the Greenwich estate sparkling under the autumn sun. Inside, Julian and Victoria were celebrating in the foyer, glasses of expensive champagne in hand, discussing how they would redecorate. Their celebration was cut short when the front door swung open.
Julian spun around, ready to yell at the intruders, but the words caught in his throat. Sarah walked in, flanked by Arthur Sterling and three uniformed police officers.

"What is the meaning of this?" Julian demanded, trying to maintain his composure. "Sarah, you are trespassing! I have a restraining order being processed!"
Arthur stepped forward, his presence commanding the room. He tossed a certified corporate deed onto the same marble console table where Julian had thrown the divorce papers.
"Actually, Julian, you are the one trespassing," Arthur said coldly. "The holding company that owns this house has been liquidated due to your fraudulent activities. The estate now belongs solely to Sarah."
The lead police officer stepped forward, holding a warrant. "Julian Vance, you are under arrest for grand larceny, embezzlement, and corporate fraud."
Julian’s face drained of color. He looked at Victoria, who was already trying to back away toward the kitchen, but another officer blocked her exit.
"Sarah, please," Julian stammered, his confident facade completely shattering. "We can talk about this. I was confused. We can work it out!"
Sarah looked at the man she had loved, feeling nothing but pity. "There is nothing to work out, Julian. You wanted me out of your life, and now you have your wish."
As the handcuffs clicked around Julian's wrists, Sarah watched him and Victoria being led out of the grand foyer. She stood alone in the quiet house, finally feeling a sense of peace. She had lost a husband, but she had reclaimed her dignity, proving that greed will always stumble when confronted with the truth.
