The afternoon sun beat down on the manicured lawns of the Vance estate, but for Toby, the warmth was entirely lost in a wave of sheer terror. His breath came in ragged, painful gasps as he sprinted across the grass, his torn t-shirt stained with dirt and his nose dripping fresh blood. In the distance, the twin-turbine engine of a luxury helicopter roared to life, its rotor blades spinning into a deafening blur. Standing near the passenger door was Arthur Vance, a silver-haired billionaire in a sharp navy suit, alongside his elegant blonde wife, Eleanor.

"Sir! Sir!" Toby screamed, his voice cracking under the strain. He threw himself between the couple and the aircraft, clutching his chest. "Don't get on that helicopter! Your wife put a bomb inside!"

Arthur froze, his hand hovering inches from the cabin door. The billionaire looked at Toby’s battered face, confusion and alarm warring in his eyes. Beside him, Eleanor’s polished veneer cracked for a split second before she drew herself up, her eyes flashing with venom.

"But what on earth are you saying, crazy boy?" Eleanor snapped, her voice sharp enough to cut through the engine noise. "Go back to the stables where you belong!"

She reached for Arthur’s arm, trying to pull him toward the steps. "Arthur, darling, don't listen to this lunatic. He's clearly had an accident and lost his mind. We're going to be late for the merger meeting."

But Toby stood his ground, pointing a trembling, dirt-caked finger at the elegant woman. "If you don't believe me, sir, ask her to get on the helicopter with you right now!"

The words hung heavily in the air, louder than the screaming engine. Arthur slowly turned his head to look at his wife. The trust that had bound them for fifteen years evaporated in an instant as they locked eyes, a chilling silence settling between them.
