My Fiancée Tried to Poison My Estate Guests Until a Brave Boy Screamed the Truth
A Sudden Interruption
The afternoon sun cast a warm, golden glow over the manicured lawns of the Sterling estate. It was supposed to be a day of triumph for Winston Sterling, a prominent real estate mogul who was celebrating his engagement to the beautiful and sophisticated Madeline Vance. Guests in designer attire laughed and clinked champagne glasses around a long banquet table adorned with white orchids and silver platters of gourmet delicacies. Madeline, stunning in a champagne-colored silk dress, sat gracefully by Winston's side, basking in the admiration of high society.
But the idyllic scene was shattered in an instant. A young boy, disheveled and gasping for breath, burst through the manicured hedges. His light brown hair was tangled, and his oversized clothes were smeared with dirt. He ignored the gasps of the elite guests and ran straight toward the head table, pointing a trembling finger at the exquisite food.

"Don't eat that! She put something in the food!" the boy screamed, his voice cracking with pure terror.
A stunned silence fell over the lawn. Madeline’s smile vanished, replaced by a mask of cold fury. She stood up abruptly, her chair scraping loudly against the stone patio.
"Security, get that kid out of here!" she commanded, her voice sharp enough to cut glass.
Two burly guards rushed forward to grab the boy, but Winston raised a hand, stopping them. He looked at his trusted bodyguard, Tyler, who had been quietly monitoring the perimeter. Tyler stepped closer, leaning down to whisper a chilling sentence into Winston’s ear.
"Sir, the boy is telling the truth. We found trace evidence in the kitchen," Tyler murmured.
Winston's heart hammered against his ribs. He turned his gaze back to the boy, Lucas, who was now pointing directly at Madeline's elegant designer purse resting on the table.
"There's a photo in her purse of the man she did this for!" Lucas yelled.
Madeline lunged forward, her face contorted in panic.
"No! Don't open it! Winston, he's just a lying street kid!" she shrieked, but Winston’s hand was already closing around the champagne-colored leather bag.
