The Undercover Heir

Nineteen-year-old Hunter always preferred a simple life. Despite being the sole heir to his family's massive billion-dollar automotive empire, he despised the flashy designer clothes and arrogance that usually accompanied extreme wealth. On his birthday, his grandfather challenged him to visit one of their flagship luxury showrooms undercover to observe how ordinary customers were treated. Wearing his favorite faded jeans, a worn-out t-shirt, and carrying an old green backpack, Hunter quietly slipped through the heavy glass doors of the prestigious dealership.

The showroom was a cathedral of wealth, filled with pristine, multi-million-dollar sports cars gleaming under bright, cinematic lighting. Hunter walked past several salesmen who completely ignored him, their eyes scanning right past his cheap attire. He stopped in front of a limited-edition black sports car, admiring its flawless curves. Moved by genuine appreciation, Hunter gently reached out and touched the cool, polished hood.

Before his fingers could even trace the metal, a hand violently grabbed his shoulder and shoved him backward. Hunter stumbled, losing his balance, and crashed heavily onto the polished marble floor. Standing over him was Christopher, a senior salesman wearing a sharp suit and a slate-grey tie, his face twisted in absolute disgust.

"Don't touch that! You could work your whole life and never pay for even the tires!" Christopher sneered, his voice echoing loudly through the quiet showroom.

Hunter lay on the cold floor, his elbow throbbing with pain, while other wealthy customers stared in stunned silence. Christopher adjusted his cuffs, preparing to call security to throw the teenager out. But before he could speak, the front doors slid open, and a distinguished older gentleman in a tailored black suit rushed inside. It was Winston, the family's loyal butler, who had been waiting in the limousine outside.

Winston's eyes widened in horror as he spotted Hunter on the floor. Ignoring the salesman, Winston rushed forward and knelt beside the teenager.

"Young master, I am so sorry! Are you hurt?" Winston asked, his voice trembling with deep concern.

The entire showroom went dead silent. Christopher’s smug sneer instantly evaporated, replaced by a look of absolute, paralyzing terror as he realized his fatal mistake.
