An Arrogant Salesman Shoved Me for Touching a Car, Then My Butler Walked In
Previously: When an arrogant car salesman shoved an eighteen-year-old boy in a backpack, he thought he was teaching a lesson to a penniless kid. He had no idea who the boy really was.
Unearthing the Past
The dealership manager scrambled to comply, his face pale as he personally escorted a weeping, apologetic Matthew out of the building. But as Matthew was dragged through the exit, he turned and screamed back into the showroom, accusing Dylan of being a spoiled tyrant hiding behind his family's wealth. The words hung heavy in the silent room. The manager turned to Dylan, offering a desperate, sycophantic apology and promising any vehicle in the showroom for free to make up for the incident.
Dylan ignored the manager. His heart was racing, not from anger, but from the sudden realization of how easily power could crush a person. Before he could make his exit, an elderly woman who had been quietly watching the scene stepped forward. She was dressed elegantly, her eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and determination as she stared at Dylan.

"You look so much like your grandfather, young man," she said softly, her voice carrying a weight that made Albert stiffen beside him. "But I wonder if you know the truth about how he built the empire that protects you."
Albert immediately stepped between Dylan and the woman, his professional demeanor returning like a shield. "Ma'am, I must ask you to step back. The young master is leaving," Albert said, his tone unusually sharp. But the woman didn't flinch. She pulled a worn, black-and-white photograph from her vintage purse and held it out.
Dylan bypassed Albert and took the photo. It showed two young men in front of a modest garage decades ago. One was his grandfather. The other bore an unmistakable resemblance to Matthew, the salesman who had just been fired. The woman explained that Dylan's grandfather hadn't founded the business alone; he had stolen the patents and the land from his partner, Matthew's grandfather, leaving that family in absolute poverty for generations.
"That boy you just had fired is the grandson of the man who actually designed the foundation of your family's fortune," she whispered.
