The Uninvited Guest
Arthur marched into the grove like a conqueror, flanked by two stern men in tailored grey suits carrying leather briefcases. When he saw his daughter and her groom laughing instead of weeping, his face contorted with absolute fury. He slammed his fist onto the polished lid of the casket.
"You think this is a game, Sarah?" Arthur roared, his voice echoing off the ancient trees. "I gave you a warning. You choose this nobody, and you are dead to me. You will not receive a single cent of the Vance inheritance."

Sarah felt the color drain from her face. She turned to look at Matthew, expecting him to laugh it off, but his expression had completely changed. His face was pale, his eyes wide with shock as he stared at the documents.
