Previously: When Clara gazed at the beautiful wedding gown, the boutique manager threw her out for her appearance. She had no idea Clara was the genius who actually designed it.

Just as Victoria reached for her walkie-talkie to summon security, a sleek, black limousine pulled up to the curb. The door opened, and Richard Sterling, the billionaire founder of the fashion empire, stepped out. Victoria’s sneer instantly melted into a sycophantic smile as she rushed forward to greet him.

"Mr. Sterling! What a wonderful surprise," Victoria gushed, smoothing her dress. "I was just dealing with this vagrant who is bothering our high-end clientele."

But Richard didn't even look at Victoria. His eyes were locked on Clara. His face turned pale, and his hands began to tremble. He took a slow, hesitant step toward the disheveled woman.

"Clara?" Richard gasped, his voice cracking. "My God... is it really you?"

Victoria froze, her smile faltering.

"Mr. Sterling? Surely you don't know this woman. She is clearly unstable."
"Be quiet, Victoria!" Richard snapped, his voice thunderous.

He rushed forward and wrapped Clara in a tight, emotional embrace. Clara gasped, but as the scent of his cologne hit her, a flood of memories rushed back. Richard had been her mentor, her business partner, and her dearest friend.

"We've been searching for you for two years," Richard wept. "After the accident, we thought we lost you forever."

He turned to Victoria, his eyes blazing with fury.

"You just insulted the creative genius behind this entire brand," Richard growled. "Clara Vance didn't just come here to try on that dress. She designed it. She co-owns this boutique, which means she is technically your boss."

Victoria's face drained of color. She looked at Clara’s stained t-shirt, then at Richard, her knees trembling. But the revelations weren't over. The passenger door of the limousine opened, and another man stepped out. Clara's breath caught in her throat as she recognized the handsome face of her husband, Arthur, whom she believed had perished in the crash.
