Previously: Martha thought a family yacht trip would heal their fractured relationships, but she quickly realized her husband and daughter had a much darker, life-threatening plan for her inheritance.

Arthur grabbed Martha by the collar of her dress, his face twisted in a mask of pure rage. "You ruined everything!" he snarled, dragging her back toward the edge. But before he could throw her over, a loud, sharp siren echoed across the water.

Justice on the High Seas

From around the stern of the yacht, a Coast Guard interceptor boat roared into view, its blue and red lights flashing brilliantly against the sunny sky. Arthur froze, his grip loosening in shock.

Martha fell to the deck, coughing and gasping, as armed officers shouted commands through a megaphone. Behind the Coast Guard boat was a private vessel carrying Martha’s trusted attorney, Mr. Harrison, and two private investigators.

Martha had never been entirely naive. When she found the suspicious financial documents in Arthur's desk, she had quietly hired investigators to monitor her husband. She had also shared her real-time GPS location with them before boarding the yacht. The slow poisoning had left her weak, but her mind remained sharp. The investigators had been tracking the Serenity from a safe distance, waiting for the perfect moment to intervene when the true intentions of her family were transitionally exposed.

Sarah was arrested on the deck, weeping and clutching her bruised face, while Arthur was handcuffed without a word, his cold arrogance finally crushed.

Sitting on the rescue boat wrapped in a warm blanket, Martha looked back at the luxury yacht that had almost become her floating coffin. She had lost her husband and her daughter, but she had saved her own life. She realized that true wealth was not measured by the size of her estate, but by the strength of her spirit to survive the ultimate betrayal.

In the end, the deepest oceans cannot drown a truth that is determined to rise to the surface.
