Previously: When Olivia stormed into the elite charity gala, she wasn't there to celebrate. She was there to expose the man who had stolen her life’s work and her future.

The Truth Laid Bare

The tension in the ballroom was thick enough to cut with a knife. Sophia looked at Julian, waiting for him to deny it, but his silence was a confession in itself. The surrounding guests began to whisper loudly, their phones raised to record the unfolding drama. Just as the security guards stepped forward to intervene, a tall, distinguished man in his sixties walked into the center of the circle. It was Arthur Vance, Julian's father and the undisputed patriarch of the Vance empire.

"What is the meaning of this?"

Arthur demanded, his powerful voice commanding immediate silence. Sophia immediately turned to him.

"Arthur, this crazy woman is trying to ruin our family name with forged documents! Have security throw her out!"

Olivia didn't back down. She held the flash drive out to Arthur.

"Mr. Vance, your son didn't just break my heart. He committed a federal crime to steal my intellectual property, and he used your company's accounts to frame me. If you don't believe me, look at the files yourself. Or we can let the federal prosecutors look at them tomorrow."

Arthur stared at Olivia, then looked at his son. Julian couldn't even meet his father's gaze. With a heavy sigh, Arthur took the flash drive from Olivia's hand. He plugged it into a nearby media tablet that was being used for the gala's presentation. Within seconds, the damning emails were projected onto the giant screens behind the stage for the entire ballroom to see. Gasps echoed through the crowd. The evidence was undeniable. Sophia's father had actively conspired with Julian to ruin Olivia.

Arthur turned back to the crowd, his face pale but resolute.

"Effective immediately, Julian Vance is removed from all positions within Vance Enterprises. We will cooperate fully with the authorities. And to Olivia—I offer my deepest, most sincere apologies. Your designs will be credited to you, and you will be compensated fully."

Julian and Sophia were swiftly escorted out of the ballroom, not by security, but by the shame of their own exposed malice. Olivia stood tall, the weight of three years of suffering finally lifting from her shoulders. Justice had finally been served, proving that even the most glittering gold cannot hide the rot of betrayal forever.
