The Gala Confrontation That Exposed A High Society Betrayal And Ruined Everything
Previously: When Olivia stormed into the elite charity gala, she wasn't there to celebrate. She was there to expose the man who had stolen her life’s work and her future.
The Confrontation Escalates
As Olivia turned to make her exit, intending to deliver the damning evidence to the reporters gathered at the back of the hall, a firm grip caught her wrist. She gasped, spinning around to face her captor. It wasn't a security guard, nor was it Julian. It was Ethan.
"Olivia, wait,"
Ethan whispered, his eyes filled with a mixture of concern and urgency.

"Don't do this here. Let's talk outside. There is more to this than you know."
"Let go of me, Ethan!"
Olivia hissed, pulling her arm away.
"You were his friend. You let him do this to me! You let him steal my designs and frame me!"
Ethan shook his head, his expression pained.
"I didn't know, Olivia. Not until it was too late. But if you release those files to the press right now, you won't just ruin Julian. You'll destroy innocent lives. Please, give me five minutes."
Before Olivia could reply, Julian and Sophia approached, flanked by two burly security guards. Julian's face was a mask of cold fury, though his eyes still betrayed a deep panic.
"Get her out of here,"
Julian ordered the guards, his voice trembling slightly.
"She's trespassing and making a scene."
"Wait,"
Sophia interrupted, her voice sharp as steel. She stepped forward, looking Olivia up and down with pure disdain.
"Let her speak. Let's see what pathetic lies she has brought with her tonight. You think anyone in this room will believe a disgraced, blacklisted thief over us, Olivia?"
Olivia felt a cold smile touch her lips. She reached into her gold clutch and pulled out a sleek silver flash drive.
"This isn't a lie, Sophia,"
Olivia said, her voice carrying across the immediate circle of onlookers.
"This contains the complete, unedited email exchange between Julian and your father from three years ago. It details exactly how you fabricated the embezzlement charges against me to steal my waterfront designs. I don't need them to believe me. I just need them to read this."
Julian's breath hitched, and he took a step back, looking utterly defeated. Sophia's confident smirk vanished, replaced by a sudden, icy dread.
