"What is the meaning of this, Ashley? Who is this man, and why is he interrupting our wedding?"

"He is not interrupting our wedding, Christopher. He is here to finalize my departure,"

Richard did not flinch. He handed a document directly to Patricia.

"Mrs. Sterling, these are the foreclosure notices for your family’s estate and your primary business assets. My client, Ashley, is the sole trustee of the investment firm that holds your ten-million-dollar debt. Due to your breach of contract and financial fraud, we are recalling the loan immediately,"

he announced.

Christopher gasped, looking from his mother to Richard.

"What? That's impossible! Ashley doesn't have that kind of money!"

he yelled. Richard then handed Christopher a second folder filled with photographs and bank statements.

"Furthermore, we have documented proof of your ongoing affair with your assistant, as well as the embezzlement of trust funds to finance this very wedding. The prenuptial agreement you forced Ashley to sign is officially null and void due to fraud."
