How a Hidden Camera Saved Me When My Daughter Tried to Push Me Overboard
Previously: When Martha's daughter and son-in-law trapped her on a luxury yacht, she thought it was her final moments. But a dark family secret was about to rise from the depths.
A Dark Demonic Bargain
With a desperate surge of adrenaline, Martha managed to twist her body, breaking Sarah's grip. She stumbled back onto the teak deck, her chest heaving as she clutched her bruised wrists. Arthur stepped forward, his cold eyes narrowing as he blocked her path to the cabin door. There was no escape; they were miles from the coast, and the yacht was on autopilot.
"Let's not make this more difficult than it needs to be, Martha," Arthur said smoothly, pulling a sleek leather folder from his jacket. "Just sign the transfer of executorship, and we can all enjoy the rest of this beautiful cruise."
Sarah recovered her footing, her face red with frustration. She snatched the folder from Arthur and thrust it toward her mother, along with a heavy gold pen.

"You always loved your money more than me," Sarah spat. "If you sign it, you get to live out your days in that nice retirement home we picked out. If you don't... well, accidents happen at sea all the time."
Martha looked at the papers, her hands trembling. She realized that signing them wouldn't guarantee her safety; it would only sign her death warrant. Once they had her signature, there would be nothing stopping them from throwing her overboard anyway and claiming she fell. She needed to buy time. She looked up at the ship's mast, her eyes scanning the rigging. Hidden beneath a plastic cover near the radar dome was a small, blinkless lens—a high-definition security camera her nephew, Leo, had installed just days before. Leo had been suspicious of Arthur's sudden kindness and had insisted on setting up a remote feed.
Martha looked back at her daughter, her voice suddenly steadying. "I know what you're doing, Sarah. And I know you aren't doing this alone. But you've underestimated me."
