Previously: When Sarah found her unconscious daughter in a recycling bin, her husband tried to blame her. But a hidden camera soon revealed a sickening plot that changed everything.

The Accusation

At the hospital, the sterile smell of antiseptic did nothing to calm Sarah’s racing heart. She sat in the waiting room, her red sweatshirt stained with dirt from the recycling bin, her hands shaking uncontrollably. David sat across from her, his head in his hands, putting on a grand display of grief for the nurses passing by. But whenever Sarah looked at him, she saw a cold, calculating look in his eyes that made her skin crawl.

Officer Miller stood near the entrance, taking notes as the emergency room doctors worked on Lily. When the lead physician finally stepped out, he delivered a shocking revelation: Lily had been given a heavy dose of pediatric sleeping medication, which had caused her to lose consciousness.

"She’s stable now," the doctor assured them, "but another hour in that bin without proper airflow could have been fatal."

Sarah let out a sob of relief and rushed into the recovery room, with David and Officer Miller close behind. Lily was lying in the hospital bed, her eyelashes fluttering as she slowly regained consciousness. When she saw Sarah, tears welled in her small eyes.

"Mommy," Lily whispered, her voice raspy. "I was so cold."

Sarah leaned down, kissing her forehead. "I've got you, baby. You're safe now. Can you tell me what happened? How did you get into that big blue box?"

Lily’s gaze drifted past her mother, landing on David. She shrank back into the pillows, a look of pure terror crossing her face. But instead of pointing at her father, she pointed toward the window, looking out at the parking lot where David's assistant and their next-door neighbor, Clara, had parked her car.

"The lady with the sweet flower perfume," Lily whispered. "She came into my room. She gave me a cup of sweet juice and told me we were playing a game. She put me in the box."

Sarah froze. Clara was not just their neighbor; she was the woman David had been spending late nights with under the guise of "work." Sarah turned to her husband, her voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.

"What did you do, David?"
