"Actually, Mr. Sterling, as of three weeks ago, the majority share of our security firm was acquired by the Sterling Family Trust—specifically, the trust solely controlled by your wife. Furthermore, the panic transmitter Mrs. Sterling activated did not just send a distress signal. It activated a high-definition audio recording device that has streamed your entire physical assault and subsequent threats directly to our off-site server."

Gregory stared at the paper, his hands beginning to shake. The realization of his complete vulnerability began to sink in as he looked at Diana, who was no longer the helpless victim he had terrorized for years.
