I Risked My Life to Save My Wealthy Boss From His Wife’s Deadly Trap
A Deadly Departure
The afternoon sun beat down on the manicured lawns of the Sterling estate, casting long shadows near the spinning rotors of the private helicopter. Toby, a young stable hand, sprinted across the grass, his breath coming in ragged, painful gasps. His white shirt was torn, and blood from a freshly broken nose stained his collar. Every step was agony, but the sight of Arthur Sterling and his wife, Eleanor, walking toward the aircraft fueled him with desperate energy.
Arthur, an older gentleman of immense wealth and kindness, looked distinguished in his grey tuxedo. Beside him, Eleanor looked as elegant as ever in a flowing summer dress, her blonde hair catching the light. They were heading to a high-society charity gala, completely unaware of the trap waiting for them in the sky.

Toby burst through the final stretch of lawn, collapsing slightly as he reached them. "Sir, sir!" he gasped, clutching his chest. "Don't get on that helicopter! Your wife put a bomb inside!"
Arthur froze, his brow furrowing in deep confusion. Eleanor’s face went pale for a fraction of a second before her features hardened into a cold, furious glare. She snapped angrily at the young man, her voice dripping with condescension.
"But what on earth are you saying, crazy boy? Go back to the stables where you belong. You are clearly out of your mind."
Toby shook his head, looking directly at Arthur. He knew his word against the elegant lady of the house meant very little, but he had to try. "If you don't believe me, sir, ask her to get on the helicopter with you right now," Toby pleaded, his voice cracking with emotion.
The words hung heavily in the air, louder than the roaring engine of the helicopter. Arthur slowly turned his head to look at his wife. For the first time in their five-year marriage, a shadow of suspicion crossed his eyes. The couple locked eyes in a tense, silent confrontation, the spinning blades of the helicopter whipping Eleanor's hair across her face as the truth began to unravel.
