He looked up at the ceiling, scanning the corners of the minimalist barracks room. "There are no cameras in this wing, Lieutenant," he sneered, lowering his voice so only those closest could hear. "Captain, Lieutenant Vance just physically assaulted me when I tried to return unauthorized personal items found in the common area. She struck my arm when I attempted to hand them to her. I have multiple witnesses who saw her initiate physical contact."

Captain Miller turned his stern gaze to Heather.

"Lieutenant Vance, what do you have to say for yourself?"

Heather stood tall, her eyes fixed forward.

"Captain, Sergeant Davis aggressively cornered me and shoved an item at me in a harassing manner. I executed a standard defensive block to prevent him from making physical contact with my person. Furthermore, I request that we immediately review the feed from the newly installed security camera in this sector."
